Blueline steel is specially designed HSS knife steel for short run applications. Blueline knife stock is high quality and easy to grind. Blueline is priced very competitively with quantity discounts available.
Blueline Coated steel is specially designed coated HSS knife steel for short run applications. Diamond enhanced coating adds versatility for flue lines and mineral content in hardwoods. Blueline coated is easy to grind like normal Blueline steel. Blueline coated is priced very competitively with quantity discounts available.
Blackback steel is an economy grade opti-steel with black oxide coating for improved life and reduced pitch build-up. Blackback bars of knife stock are available in 5/16” and ¼” thickness.
Premium M2 steel is our most popular HSS M2. Horizontally ground which ensures bar to bar consistency, quality, and hardness. Strick tolerance kept on all dimensions. Premium M2 is perfect for jointing. Premium M2 bars of knife stock are available in 5/16”, ¼”, and 3/8” thickness.
M3 steel has a European-Style back bevel, horizontally ground and is made with high quality German base metal.
Diamondback steel is our Centric Inc. premium HSS M2 with a diamond enhanced coating process for difficult applications such as mineral content, glue lines, and long runs in hardwoods. Diamondback leaves less-pronounced knife mark finish. Diamondback is perfect for jointing. Grinds like M2 with a regular vitrified grinding wheel. Diamondback should de-bur only with CMS rubber stick. Diamondback bars of knife stock are available in 5/16” and ¼” thickness.
T1 steel has 18% Tungsten and is a true T1 grade. T1 provides longer run time and is made from German base metal.
M42 steel is a wafer inlay of higher cobalt and tungsten M42 steel with 65-67 Rockwell C hardness.
